
Jura is a Scottish whisky brand, distilled on a remote island of the same name. They recruited Drum to re-launch their social presence, seeking to stand out in a sea-of-spirit-brand-sameness. Reflecting the barrel ageing process of the whisky itself, we developed an approach that was all about slowing things down, and reflecting on the world, in a way that only a product that can take twenty odd years to mature can and that would act as antidote to the noise of newsfeeds.

ROLE.
My role was two fold - first re-defining how the brand would manifest in a different way than it had before on social channels, and then working with the creative team to plan and capture 6 month’s worth of stills and video content. This included scouting for locations, inputting into the final shot list and then overseeing post production after the shoot.









We decided to show the authentic side of whisky making other brands often over romanticise.




And crafted distinctive product-led posts through striking composition & typography.
